NLF3 is comprising of F.lor, Don Nino and Mitch Pires.
This three piece at the forefront of Paris innovative scene cultivates an instrumental rock form. Their music is cyclical, textured, halfway between movie scores and psychedelic rock transgression. The band cites influences such as Pierre Henry, Fela Kuti, Steve Reich, Ennio Moricone, as well as Syd Barrett, Fantomas, Aphex Twin, and Sonic Youth, while mixing electronics together with a wide variety of instruments and effects: amplified kalimba, electric guitars and bass, vintage keyboards, drums, percussions, theremin, vocals in delays...
They played outstanding shows in festivals such as MEG Montreal, Villette Sonique, La Route Du Rock and extensively toured Europe, Mexico, UK and Japan, sharing stages with Animal Collective, Tortoise, Battles, Holy Fuck, Gang Gang Dance, among others. Besides, they were acclaimed worldwide for their live score on Eisenstein's movie Que Viva Mexico!.
The last album "Beautiful Is The Way To The World Beyond" was released in France, Japan on October 12th 2010 and UK, rest of Europe from November 2nd 2010.One year later, NLF3 decided to release a collector EP entitled "Beast Me", defined as savaged and inventive.

Praises about "Beautiful Is The Way To The Word Beyond"
" Ultimately this is a beautiful, unique and sincere album of instrumental pop. Don’t let it get away. 8/10 Drowned In Sound
"Their taste for distorted kalimbas produces a similar satisfying crunch to Konono N°1's electric likembes" RockaRolla
"The French space-rock-kraut outfit just nails it with every new album. They seem to be from a parallel universe anyway, so hopefully at least there NLF3 will lead the charts for weeks to come. 9/10 Lowdown Music.
"Hippie post-rock with touches of 'kraut' and Belgian absurdity marks this NLF3 CD as somewhat exceptional. Smart rhythm patterns, equally based on tribal Central-African (Congotronics!) as well as on TV tunes, determine this fluent exercise in innovation." PennyblackMusic.co.uk
