Maurice Greene aka M.Sayyid’s book ‘Follow The Sun’ now released.

This limited edition of 100 copies
, combining a variety of papers and printing techniques, was unveiled this past weekend at the ABC Days fair/exhibition at Topographie de l’Art gallery in Paris.

The book is available on our Bandcamp page and at the gallery.

The exhibition of Maurice Greene’s large-format works is on view until July 24.

Moving at full speed, M.Sayyid keeps landing trick after trick while sidestepping the conventions of every field in which he excels: alternative hip-hop, painting, drawing, and more. For the first time, he has published a book that reflects his own image—revealing the complexity of his personality and the many facets of his identity.

A member of the legendary American group Antipop Consortium, which helped forge a unique connection between hip-hop and Warp, Maurice Greene (his real name) now presents a hybrid publishing project that brings together his artistic practices and personal explorations. From New York City to California and Paris—where, as he puts it, he has experienced “the galleries, the grand hotels, and the hard times”—he creates a singular work that blends text, drawing, and painting.

The book is accompanied by an original soundtrack, accessible via QR code or hyperlink, offering a reading experience that engages all the senses.
